Aims and Scope
The aims of the journal Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics Brčko are focused on fostering scientific dialogue among the academic community, researchers, consultants, and decision-makers through the publication of original scientific papers, review articles, preliminary or short communications, scientific critiques, conference papers, informative contributions, book reviews, instruments, computer programs, case studies, and reports on scientific events. To present the most current results of scientific and professional research in the fields of economics and business, the editorial board particularly focuses on:
- Promoting high-quality disciplinary, multidisciplinary, and interdisciplinary research in the areas of economic theory and policy, international economics, green economy and sustainable development, monetary economics, and public finance.
- Presenting relevant and up-to-date information and scientific findings on financial markets, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, and corporate finance that support decision-making and improve business practice.
- Supporting the development of statistical, econometric, and operations research, as well as the development of management information systems as key tools for analyzing and solving complex economic problems.
- Encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the academic community, researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in other countries in the region, with a special emphasis on developing countries.
- Enabling a multidisciplinary approach for a better understanding and resolution of current economic and social challenges.
- Promoting sustainable development and the green economy through research that offers innovative solutions to balance economic growth with environmental protection.
- Encouraging the consideration of new theoretical and empirical approaches, as well as the application of scientific knowledge in practice at the local, regional, and global levels
