Use of Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence

The Journal of the Faculty of Economics Brčko acts in accordance with the following recommendations: World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) recommendations on chat bots, ChatGPT and scholarly manuscripts i Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)'s position statement on Authorship and AI tools.

Tools such as ChatGPT cannot be listed as authors of a manuscript.

Authors must clearly state whether they have used tools based on large language models and generative artificial intelligence (specifying which tools were used and for what purposes) in an appropriate section, such as the methodology section or acknowledgments.

Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, correctness, and appropriateness of content generated with tools based on large language models and generative artificial intelligence, as well as for the correctness of cited references, and guarantee that the manuscript contains no plagiarism.

The editor, members of the editorial board, and reviewers must ensure that information presented in manuscripts during the review process is kept confidential. The editor and members of the editorial board must not share information about submitted manuscripts and reviewer reports with tools based on large language models and generative artificial intelligence, and reviewers must not use such tools to generate review reports.

The journal "Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics Brčko" is distributed under the international CC BY-NC 4.0 license (Attribution–NonCommercial). The Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska co-funds the publication of the Journal.
