Editorial Presentation of the Journal

The journal Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics Brčko is an international, peer-reviewed, research-oriented journal published by the Faculty of Economics Brčko of the University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been issued as a printed serial publication since 2015 and, since 2016, also as an electronic serial publication. The journal publishes the results of theoretical, methodological, and empirically validated research in relevant fields of economics and business. It is intended for the academic community, researchers, consultants, and decision-makers in the areas of economic theory and policy, international economics, green economy and sustainable development, monetary economics, public finance, financial markets, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, corporate finance, statistical, econometric and operations research, management information systems, and other related fields that allow for appropriate multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research.

The journal Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics Brčko publishes original, previously unpublished contributions: original scientific papers, review papers, preliminary communications, conference papers, and professional papers. All submitted contributions undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The journal does not charge authors fees for submission, review, processing, or publication of papers. Scientific papers may be submitted in English or in one of the three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If a paper is submitted in one of the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an abstract in English must also be provided.

The journal is published once a year, in printed form (ISSN 2303-8861) and in electronic form (ISSN 2490-2373).

Printed issues of the journal volumes are deposited in the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the Library of the Faculty of Economics Brčko, University of East Sarajevo.

The journal Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics Brčko provides online Open Access to the full text of all published contributions. It is included in the international Crossref system. Each article accepted for publication is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which allows authors to track the number of views of their published contributions.

The journal is indexed in: ROAD, Crossref, BASE, WorldCat, DOI Srpska, GoogleScholar, Index Copernicus International, WIKIDATA and others.

The Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska co-funds the publication of the journal and conducts its annual evaluation in accordance with the Rulebook on the Publication of Scientific Publications in the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska", No. 77/17).
